China’s economy has exploded over the last 25 years. The country has become a powerhouse on the global stage. And with 1.3 billion Chinese consumers in the country, the opportunities for both Chinese and foreign brands have become clear.

CHALLENGE
So we asked ourselves: How can we help our customers unlock the potential of this ever-evolving market? What can we do to ensure our customers have advanced packaging solutions to help them connect with billions of consumers in the region?

SOLUTION
We soon found the answer. In late 2007, we opened the doors to our Wuxi manufacturing plant. It’s a state-of-the-art facility near Shanghai in east-central China, right at the center of the country’s most affluent region.

Our Wuxi facility has the latest technology and can supply you with a broad range of product packaging and packaging solutions – from pumps and sprayers to plastic and paper cartons.

The facility spans 467,046 square feet, including expanded operations for our Calmar portfolio of products. And because it’s near Shanghai, our team and our partners have direct access to some of the most dynamic consumer market opportunities. Plus it’s close to port, which makes transport as snap.

RESULT
Today our Wuxi plant employs more than 400 trained professionals and is positioned in the heart of Asia’s rapidly growing economy. It’s the cornerstone of our long-term commitment to China and to the success of our customers in this ever-evolving market.

As we extend our global footprint with Wuxi, we enhance our ability to serve the high production volumes and turnaround speeds you need in the region.

Through innovative materials, exceptional designs and the most advanced packaging systems, our team meets the needs of multinational and local customers. Current Wuxi customers include SC Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Anheuser-Busch, Mengniu and Blue Moon. And the list continues to grow.
