Dairy products move on and off the shelf fast. In 2006, Yoplait developed Petits Filous – a new line of children’s yogurt drinks and fresh cheeses, so it needed to get to market with speed.
Challenge
Yoplait turned to MWV in France to design and install an advanced packaging system specifically for the Petits Filous lineup of products. But there was a catch – the company needed to have the system fully operational in less than 20 weeks.
Solution
Typical packaging systems installations take about 25 weeks. But thanks to our dedicated team we were able to finish the installation in record time. Within 19 weeks, more than 20 percent faster than normal installations, Yoplait’s Petits Filous packaging system was up and running full speed.
With MWV and our EvoTech Packaging System, Yoplait was able to stick to its original schedule and hit the shelves in no time. EvoTech allows Yoplait and other customers to produce multiple configurations of loose and attached cups, plastic bottles, jars or bricks on one machine. This speeds up packaging production and helps increase overall efficiency.
