Dr. Robert K. Beckler

Career History

Dr. Beckler, 46, is president of the Specialty Chemicals Division of MWV.

Dr. Beckler joined the company in 1987 as a research chemical engineer in Charleston. In 1990, he was promoted to senior research chemical engineer, then, in 1994, he transferred to the Chemical Division’s Carbon Department in Covington, Virginia, where he assumed a variety of roles in product development, production management and business management for the automotive carbon business. Bob was named vice president in the Specialty Chemicals Division in 2004 and president in 2007.
