Responsible Care

MWV Specialty Chemicals is committed to protecting human health and the environment while using resources in a responsible and sustainable manner.

We believe in and subscribe to the Guiding Principles of the American Chemistry Council's (ACC) Responsible Care® program — a global chemical industry performance initiative that is implemented in the United States through the ACC. At the heart of the Responsible Care initiative are key Codes of Management Practices which we strongly support.

Responsible Care is now practiced in 52 countries worldwide and each country's program is managed by its leading trade association. Globally, Responsible Care is managed by the International Council of Chemical Associations and is governed by the Responsible Care Global Charter, which sets a global vision for the Responsible Care program.

Through our steadfast commitment to the program, we work to continuously improve our health, safety and environmental performance, while providing communications to our stakeholders about our products and processes. Supporting Responsible Care helps our industry operate safely, profitably and with due care for future generations.
