General Insurance Program Information
Information contained in this section applies only to Automobile Liability (AL), Comprehensive General Liability (CGL), Umbrella Liability (UL), Property, and Workers' Compensation (WC) insurance maintained on behalf of the MeadWestvaco Corporation.
Data regarding MeadWestvaco Corporation's Insurance Program is provided as a matter of INFORMATION ONLY. It does not amend, extend, or alter the coverage provided by the policies. The information applies only to those individuals or organizations that have an underlying written contract or written agreement wherein MeadWestvaco Corporation and/or its subsidiaries (MWV) are required to provide evidence of insurance coverage and/or add them as additional Insured under the CGL Policy.
In contracts or written agreements wherein MeadWestvaco Corporation is required to provide property insurance, the perils to be insured and valuation method shall be in accordance with relative clauses in such contracts or agreements. This is subject to 1) a maximum amount of no more than repair or replacement of the damaged asset, 2) actual cash valuation in the event the asset is not replaced and 3) certain sublimits for some perils such as earthquake damage. Waiver of Subrogation, Additional Insured, Loss Payee or Mortgagee status to benefit Contracting Parties shall be in accordance with terms and conditions of the written contract or agreement.
MWV does not maintain physical damage insurance on licensed road vehicles that are owned, leased or rented but does assume responsibility for physical damage as required by Contract or Written Agreement.
Should any of the policies described herein be canceled before expiration date, thereof MWV will endeavor to mail 30 days written notice where required by contract.
